With Jesse as their ace in 2011 Fort Scott CC has their second best season in school history, finishing 42-18!!!
Here Jesse picks up another victory in his final starting appearance for FSCC at the Jayhawk Conference Regionals.
Jesse finishes his 2011 sophomore season 6-1 and earns First Team All-Eastern Jayhawk Conference
and NJCAA Distinguished Academic All-American awards!

During the summer of 2012 Jesse pitches for the Lindsborg (KS) Knights summer collegiate team
who play in the premier Walter Johnson League of the National Baseball Congress (NBC).
An extremely rare baseball phenomenon happens in the above pictured 2012 game at our State Capital city where
Lindsborg defeats the eventual League Champion Topeka Golden Giants 1-0. In one of his greatest performances
on the mound Jesse gets the win by pitching a masterful complete game, 2-hit-shutout, in 10 innings. Remarkably
the Topeka Golden Giants starting pitcher duels Jesse toe-to-toe with a perfect 9 innings of his own in the loss!
To understand the rarity of that situation, in Major League Baseball a team defeating an opposing pitcher
who starts a game by throwing at least 9 perfect innings
has only happened once before in history!
